Hello darling, I feel this 7th anniversary of your leaving us is harder than ever. I am having reservations now the time is fast approaching to leave our beautiful home where you were raised and created so many memories. Are we really doing the right thing? Things would be so different if you were here. I know it will be so much easier for James to help when we need it being so close to them. I just hope and pray dad settles and I will still be able to go out for walks and meet friends for coffee. They have all said they will come and meet halfway to keep in touch. I am sure we will come back down to see family and friends and most importantly visit you. Julie and Judy have said they will keep an eye on the cemetery so you look tidy. I love and miss you so much there are so many things I didn’t say to you I hope you know how much I love you. All my love Mum xxxx

Hello sweetheart, just because I haven’t written doesn’t mean I don’t miss you every second of every day. So much has been happening. I had an operation to remove a cyst and my tubes and ovaries. Everything was fine and I was recovering well when I started getting horrible back ache and pain. Long story short I was finally told I had fractured my back and have osteopenia. I still get back ache very easily but am so much better. I am seeing a personal trainer for exercise and take tablets for calcium and vitamin D. James and Hayley have asked us to buy a house with them in the same village as the cottage. We will have a separate entrance and be totally independent but so close if I need help. It is going to be a real wrench leaving here and all the memories it holds of you but you are in our hearts always and forever. We have sold here but still waiting for the cottage to sell. I promise I won’t leave it so long before I write with our news. Love 💕 you so much my darling

I can’t believe it is so long since I wrote to you. Things are getting a bit difficult with dad. He has dementia and Alzheimer’s and I am struggling a little especially without you by our side. The girls talk about you and I know you would have loved being part of their lives. I miss you so much my love. Mum xxxx

Today is the 5th anniversary since you left us and it still feels so raw. You are missed and thought of every day. I am sorry that Lizfest has come to an end but Dad is not 100% and I know I would struggle to do it justice. James and Hayley and the girls are moving into the cottage which is looking so good. Hello you 😊 I had no idea that we had a memorial page to chat to you! This makes me smile ❤️ i think i probably talk to youat least once a week! We all miss you so much and it still does not feel real at all! I keep trying to do things with my life and my decisions that you would advise me to so ❤️ As you will know, i have a little baby boy now called Jake... I am going to make sure he is brought up exactly like his Auntie Liz ❤️ Mum and Dad are spending a lot of time with your mum and dad and they love it ❤️ this really makes me smile too. Sweetheart I am so sorry we still haven’t been able to do any fundraising. To compensate I am now working when I can in the new shop in Crossgates which the Leeds Hospital Charity have recently opened. Miss you more and more every day and especially at this time of year. You would absolutely love how your nieces are growing up, they have missed out not having you around.

4years yesterday since you became an angel in the sky. We love and miss you every second of every day sweetheart. I can’t believe I cannot talk to you about all the things that are happening just now. I am so sorry but there is no Lizfest again this year as things are still so uncertain with coronavirus, you would hate all the restrictions. It is with great sadness to have to say that we are selling Valley Road and Brigshaw Drive but I think you would approve that with James Hayley and the girls we have bought a cottage in the Yorkshire Dales not far from the Forbidden Corner which you loved. Miss you so much all the time my darling. Your smiles and the games you organised for the girls at Christmas can never be replaced like so many other things. Wish you could see what fantastic nieces you have and know they would love to have their Aunty here. Xxxx

3 years since you left us my precious. Lockdown due to Coronavirus put a halt to my making a donation of my hair to the Princess Trust on 27th July 2020 but I am doing it now even though over a month late. Also I am sorry my love but Lizfest this year has had to be cancelled due to Coronavirus, it will be back next year though. Xx

2 years tomorrow since you left us and not a day goes by without missing you beyond words and loving you so much. You would be so proud of your brother, he is on the second day of the Icelandic trek he told you he was going to do. This a year later than planned as 8 months after you went to become the brightest star he was diagnosed with bowel Cancer and had to have an operation and undergo treatment. No one could have 2 more amazing children.
